To assist parents in determining the best child safety seat and to make sure it is installed properly, there is a network of Fitting Stations across the state. For parents facing financial hardship, some fit stations provide car seats at a reduced price or for a small donation. Find the closest station to you by visiting the

Never Leave Your Child Alone in a Car-Even for a Minute!

During the first six months of this year, over 20 infants and children have died while alone in a hot vehicle. Children's bodies heat up 3-5 times faster than an adult's so they do not handle heat like an adult can.
